The holiday season is one of the most profitable times of the year. Get ready in advance to avoid the stress of this peak season.

In the last 2 years, retailers' and customers' behavior has changed. Customers prefer to shop online than go to the store. And they want their online shopping experience to be effortless. 

Now you ask yourself how you can achieve it, we have a few tips: 

  • Your website should be user-friendly and mobile-friendly, making navigation easy and clean. 

  • Your online traffic will increase during the holiday season; test your website speed, security, and loading time should be quick

  • Sync and keep up to date on your third-party integrations like a payment system and shipping

  • If you have two shops online and brick and mortar store, make sure your inventory is stocked up and counted separately.

  • Think about setting up SEO to improve your search, and it will increase your online traffic to your website

  • Your Instagram/Facebook shops should match your website merchandise in branding and product quality. You can invest in ads it increases traffic to your social media channels and website.

  • Send a special email to your loyal customers (customize a special offer only for them for example 70% off). Do not forget about the rest of your customers and send them an email with a different offer. (example 20% off for the next 48h)

  • Think about creating a special button on your website “Gifts” it gives you an opportunity to create special discounts and sales.

  • Check if each product has a photo and upload it to each of your media channels. Set up a professional photoshoot in advance

  • Use an Abandoned cart email to remind your customers that their shopping list is waiting. Send them a special offer with a discount code they can use when they complete their checkout.

  • Do not forget to ask yourself; are you ready for the time after the Holiday season? Are you prepared to do a post Holiday sale?
