Cia is widely known as a devoted cat person, but did you know her love for animals goes far beyond feline companions? In fact, she grew up surrounded by cats and even had a remarkable experience with a show dog named Samson, a gorgeous red Doberman!
Attending dog shows with Samson opened Cia's eyes to the remarkable diversity and beauty of various dog breeds. Those moments sparked a deep appreciation for our four-legged friends. Sadly, after seven cherished years together, Samson developed a cancerous tumor in his leg and crossed the rainbow bridge.
Driven by her immense love for animals, Cia's compassionate spirit led her to become a neighborhood hero! She would tirelessly patrol her area, rescuing stray cats and showering them with love and care. From giving them baths to providing nourishing meals, she was determined to find these precious felines safe and loving homes.
While being an animal rescuer might have been her true calling, Cia's path led her to the amazing world of Viscera Studio. However, her passion never waned, as she dedicated her time to volunteer at the Oakland SPCA. There, she continued to nurture her "rescuer" tendencies, bringing comfort and hope to countless animals in need.
