Meet Our Studio Manager!
Meet Cia!
Allow me to introduce you to Cia, our new studio manager. Cia comes to us with a background of 10+ years as an interior photographer. She’s also full of random fun facts - so you may learn something new at any moment.
We had a chat with Cia so you can get to know her better.
Where are you from/ Where have you lived/ Where do you spend most of your time?
I was born in San Jose, CA and have lived in the Bay Area for most of my life. I lived in Colorado and Kansas for short periods of time as a child.
Since the Pandemic, I’ve spent most of my time at home. If I get antsy, I’ll go for a drive.
If I feel really antsy, I’ll drive to the beach.
What are some of your favorite places and things to do in the Bay Area?
As a Bay Area native, I love to go to Japantown in San Francisco. It has everything I love: a stationary store, books, people watching, and sushi. Another one of my favorite things to do is go to Ghirardelli Square and art gallery hop. I love to go to Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz when I can take the drive out. I also love to discover new places to eat.
What do you do at Viscera?
I am the Studio Manager. I keep our projects on time and moving forward and I managing the studio space so you can come to me with your candy requests
Digital or Analog?
Digital for money. Analog for my books and socializing.
What are your creative outlets? What sort of creative things do you enjoy doing?
A few years ago I took up watercolor painting and started to paint a series of portraits.
I also love to take photos with my phone. I am a photographer, but I like the challenge of using my phone and I seem to be drawn to shadows.
Where do you find creative inspiration these days?
I find creative inspiration from interactions with people and observing the world around me. I love humor and I always look for the humor in life, even in the darkest of times.
How do you spend your free time?
I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts, hang out with my two cats, read, meditate, take photos, and paint.
