Designing a logo can be a tricky, but we’re up for the task.

California Minority Counsel Program (- CMCP) asked us to help them refresh their logo.

If you’re not familiar with CMCP, let us introduce you: "The California Minority Counsel Program (CMCP) is a non-profit mutual benefit corporation, dedicated to promoting diversity in the legal profession by providing attorneys of colour with access and opportunity for business and professional development."

First, our team met with CMCP and together we created a guiding principles and priorities to help understand their mission and how to express it in a logo.

We wanted it to highlight CMCP as a connector in the community and a voice of authentic connection. The idea behind the design was to show the energy and joy created when people come together.

California Minority Counsel Program is a progressive institution with a modern approach to what is happening in their community.

We want the new fresh logo to reflect those values. The new logo has a fresh and clever approach to legal professions.

We are honoured that CMCP has trusted us with their new logo design.

Here’s what they had to say about the experience of working with us:

"Thank you, Ari! I sincerely appreciate the incredibly quick turnaround and beautiful work. Looking forward to future collaborations." - Leah Weatherspoon Marketing and Communications Director, CMCP | California Minority Counsel Program
